Audio adaptation of the original novel in which Mordreaux, a demented scientist, is being transported to a rehabilitation colony. He manages to break loose and kills Captain Kirk. Spock realizes the scientist is only part of a far more dangerous phenomenon, and must count on Mordreaux to help undo the damage that has already been done-- and bring Kirk back from the dead.
